Is there anything more embarrassing as a reporter than interviewing someone not knowing that the person you're interviewing is actually quite famous? John Donnelly experienced that firsthand Wednesday.
While doing a 'man-on-the-street' segment for Fox26 in Houston, Donnelly stopped a gentleman in a purple tank-top to talk about traffic in the city. It wasn't until after Donnelly asked the man for his name that he realized he was talking to former All-Pro running back Adrian Peterson.
Donnelly: Alright, your name?
AP: Adrian Peterson.
Donnelly: Wait a minute...you're not...
AP: Yeah...
Well, at least it wasn't too awkward for Donnelly and Peterson.
