Predators P.K. Subban Gets Emotional In His Return To Montreal

The Montreal Canadiens traded superstar defenseman P.K. Subban to the Nashville Predators last offseason in exchange for defenseman Shea Weber. The trade was a blockbuster and, admittedly, one that shocked Subban.

He was playing well, was great in the Montreal community and didn't want to leave. But hockey is a business and the business side of the sport sent Subban on his way to Nashville.

Thursday night, the Predators played in Montreal, Subban's first game back in the city since the trade and the Canadiens honored him with an incredible tribute video.

The video, paired with the standing ovation and thunderous applause that Subban received from the Montreal crowd, brought the now Predators defenseman to tears.

It was a nice reminder that while sports are a business, the players are still human beings and moving from the city and organization that you've been with your whole career can be quite difficult.
