Last year at the NFL Combine, former Connecticut Husky and now Dallas Cowboy cornerback Byron Jones set a world record when he recorded a 12'3 broad jump. This year, another Connecticut Husky came close to that mark. Not extremely close, but still close.
Obi Melifonwu recorded a broad jump of 11'9 Monday at the Combine for the second-best broad jump in the history of the combine.
Jones' jump made him a first-round selection of the Cowboys, will Melifonwu's do the same for him?
