The Minnesota Vikings could still bring back soon-to-be free agent running back Adrian Peterson after declining his $18 million 2017 option. That is, provided another team doesn't sign him first.
The Seattle Seahawks were a team that was rumored to be interested in signing the former first-round draft pick, but, according to USA Today's Tom Pelissero, the Seahawks have no immediate interest in signing Peterson.
With the free agent running back class being admittedly weak this year, more and more teams will likely look to the draft to address any running back needs.
Peterson, an assumed future Hall-of-Famer, is coming off a season during which he suffered a torn meniscus and played in just three games, carried the ball 37 times, rushed for 72 yards and failed to get in the end zone.
