The interest in free agent running back Adrian Peterson simply isn't there, according to multiple sources.

While the Houston Texans were a team that was reportedly interested in acquiring the former Minnesota Viking's services, ESPN's Sarah Barshop reported Thursday that such interest never existed.

To make things even more interesting, according to Barshop's source, the reported interest in the running back was generated by Peterson's camp and that the Texans "never once talked about him."

It'll be interesting to see how this affects the market for Peterson given no team has confirmed interest in the former first-round draft pick.
