Adam Beck, a versatile 3-star cornerback recruit from Texas, originally committed to Texas Tech to play football for the Red Raiders, however, one day after he had a visit with Minnesota, he decommitted from Texas Tech and then committed to the Gophers and new head coach P.J. Fleck.
Our friends over at GopherIllustrated gave their take on Beck and had this to say about the defensive back:
Beck, who has the frame of a safety, has a lot of experience playing cornerback. He is tremendous in coverage and will provide versatility in any defensive backfield.
