Vikings search for a head coach reportedly down to three finalists...

With newly named General Manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah now in place for the Vikings over at TCOPC, the search for a new head coach has taken off. After reports surfaced on Saturday that University of Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh was interviewing with the team, we're apparently down to three finalists who will hold a second round of interview this coming week.

According to Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network, the three finalists are DeMeco Ryans (49ers Defensive Coordinator), Kevin O'Connell (Rams Offensive Coordinator) and the afore mentioned Jim Harbaugh.

So you've got one OC, one DC and one college coach in the mix; all of which bring some very different aspects to the job. The decision that they make will be extremely telling for what direction Kwesi is looking to take this team.

Ryans and O'Connell are squaring off later on Sunday for the NFC Conference title and a chance to go to the Super Bowl.
