Paul Charchian researches TEN YEARS of NFL Quarterback draft data!

Eric Nordquist - @ericnordoKFAN

I dropped the ball on getting this up on the show page earlier this week. This is incredibly cool data that Paul Charchian compiled on NFL quarterbacks!  All of us in Vikingsland are debating who to take at quarterback in the 2014 NFL draft, when to take a quarterback and how to handle the guy once we get him on our roster.  And after all that, will we win playoff games???

Charch looked at 10 years of draft data and broke down the stats.  Depending on the round, how many playoff appearances the QB's made, how many wins, the percentage chance of winning a playoff game based on those numbers, etc.

The man they call Charch is nothing if not committed to researching talkers. He may also just have a lot of free time. Either way, the information he's collected is thought provoking.

A popular opinion these days is to skip the highly-touted trio of Manziel, Bortles and Bridgewater in hopes of finding another Russell Wilson in the 2nd/3rd round. Statistically, that's a terrible game plan. But, after our CP7 pick in 2011, some (me, for one) are hesitant to go high on a QB this time around.

What the hell are we going to do? Take a peek at the files below and give us your take!
