(Kansas City, MO)  --  Two people remain missing after a gas explosion and fire leveled a Kansas City, Missouri, restaurant on Tuesday evening. 

The dinnertime explosion destroyed JJ's restaurant, sending 14 people to area hospitals to be treated for injuries ranging from minor cuts to serious burns. 

Cadaver dogs searched the ruins of the eatery for any unaccounted for victims, but have made no positive hits. 

The Kansas City Bomb and Arson Squad and the Bureau of Alcohol, Firearms and Explosives are among several agencies expected to remain at the scene throughout the night to investigate the cause of the blast.
