Favorite KFAN Show: Bumper to Bumper with Dan Barreiro
Best sports memory: Hockey related ones: the Blake Wheeler Diving Goal Game at the 2007 WCHA Final Five and the infamous 2007 Stanley Cup Playoff Game Four Ducks vs Wild and the fans in Xcel Energy Center were never louder. Attending Gabby’s five-goal game and meeting Mikko Koivu while camping out for Wild tickets in 2010 were pretty cool too.
Best part about being an intern: Assisting in call screening and show content. Providing accurate information & statistics or screening interesting & thought-provoking callers gives me a sense of self-satisfaction
Worst part about being an intern: Answering phones during ticket giveaways.
Dream job in ten years: I’m open to anything. My two college degrees in business and mass communications leads my life down no distinct path.
Anything surprise you about the KFAN Personalities? I expected all personalities at The FAN to be self-absorbed, egotistical and unfriendly and I was completely off about my expectations.

Best part about being an intern: Having the opportunity to work with and learn from such unbelievably talented people in this business. I honestly couldn’t be more grateful.
Worst part about being an intern:Not the biggest morning person, but working with the guys on The Power Trip makes it a heck of a lot easier to wake up so early.
Dream job in ten years: Honestly, working with The FAN or any of the sister stations in the cities would be a dream come true.
Anything surprise you about the KFAN Personalities? Most of the personalities were actually how I imagined them. That’s why they are so great at what they do – it’s second nature.

The 2012 Prep Bowl is around the corner and with the new class of 6A football the state championship game becomes more of an event than a game itself.
The last games of the playoffs take place at the Metrodome and start tonight with Edina vs. Rosemount, 5 PM followed by Prior Lake vs. Lakeville North, 8 PM. Tomorrow, Wayzata vs. Eastview, 5 PM followed by Eden Prairie vs. Minnetonka, 8 PM.
I predict a win for Edina tonight. They have strong offensive and their QB, Mark Handberg (#2), leads in passing and rushing yards for the Hornets. It will be interesting to see if Rosemount can put a stop to this quick footed offense.
Lakeville North and Prior Lake could be a toss up. These two teams have met previously this season and Prior Lake came out with a 10-6 victory. The game consisted of several field goals and a lack of touchdowns. Both offenses and defenses will be tested tonight and this could be a very good game to watch.
Wayzata and Eastview have met this season and it will be interesting to see how the two teams play against each other, again. Early on in the season Wayzata had several injuries that affected the team big time. Mitch Underhill (senior) tore his ACL and MCL. This is his second tear, the first was last season. They moved Jeff Borchardt to RB and this really helped the offense out. Wayzata has a solid hands on defense. Eastview will have to be able to make some big plays in order to put up points against the Trojans if they want to win. I predict a Wayzata Trojan win for tomorrow night.
Lastly, but not least, the Eden Prairie Eagles play the Minnetonka Skippers tomorrow night at 8 PM. The two teams are powerhouse classic-lake conference teams and they have met this season. Eden Prairie blew Minnetonka away with a win 42-7. Eden Prairie's QB likes to run the ball more than he throws. Minnetonka will have to close the gaps and stop big plays from Eden Prairie in order to win. I predict an Eden Praire Eagles win.

“Look good, feel good, and play good.”
Over the past few years, the Oregon Ducks have been known to create uproar with their uniforms. Their sense of style and winning record turns heads. Do their uniforms contribute to their success? Many teams have followed with trying to stay up to date with the latest trends.
The Minnesota Gophers definitely caught viewers’ attention on their Thursday night season debut. The simplistic, crisp white jersey paired with the deep maroon matted helmet not only aided the Gophers’ appeal versus UNLV but put them at the top of the list of best uniforms in the league. The Gophers put up a challenge against UNLV and forced the game into triple overtime. Their success on the field and in the eyes of the viewers helped start the Gophers season on the right foot.

Behind every good football program there are dedicated coaches, talented players and enthusiastic fans. The Gophers believe to have the first two but as of lately are lacking in the third. Gopher students have purchased approximately 2,000 tickets of the 50,800 seat stadium.
BIG 10 rival,
Do the Gophers even need fans? Will that make their program succeed? The last time the Gophers attended a bowl game was under the coaching of Tim Brewster in 2009.
Will the decline in student ticket sales negatively affect the 2012 football season?
