KFAN Promotion Internship

KFAN, Sports Radio AM 1130, currently has internship positions open in the Promotions Department for Summer 2007. The internship requires 10-15 hours per week and must be taken for course credit. KFAN Promotion internships are perfect for college students looking to gain experience in Radio Promotions, Marketing, P.R., or Communications.

Intern responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• Working with Programming and On-Air Talent
• Live Remotes / Broadcasts
• Contesting / Merchandising
• Public Relations / Client Relations
• Promotional Event Planning and Implementation
• Promotions with local sports teams

KFAN Promotion Internships are unpaid but are available for class credit. Applicants must be currently enrolled at an educational institution and provide an internship letter from said school. Scheduling is flexible, with convenient weekday, night, and weekend hours. If you want to work in a fun, fast-paced atmosphere, send your cover letter and resume.
