I cracked open the personal, KFAN email today and there were 140 letters from loving Rubes. This undoubtedly is off the show-page post yesterday, the call to BARREIRO and the fact professionally and personally I have a lot on my proverbial plate, and I never have been afraid to share and/or be honest with listeners who have been with the time slot for more than a decade. It's who I am and I like to share and care and love and live.

I am so blessed to be surrounded by so many kind people, and some of us at KFAN had a meeting with some Vikes' officials ftoday or some preseason stuff on which we are collaborating, and being over there helped the mood a ton. My kids head to a lake place a fair amount during the summer and I plan on just sitting in the Winter Park cafeteria many a quiet afternoon. There, those of the same ilk will speculate on the dream and keep the conversation lite.

I so very much love working with this football team no matter the record, and watching something so new develop this offseason will be a treat. I speak with guys like WOBBY sometimes three times a day to navigate through things. And a guy like Wobby's inclusion on the 9-to-Nooner has a lot to do with the tutelage the late DARK STAR provided me.

When I started this show solo in 2008 I had no idea what to do. So, Dark encouraged me to utilize those in the know with whom I am comfortable and just go with it. Thus, guys like Wobby and RYAN CARDINAL of gopherpucklive.com get mega run on the radio show, and a girl like NADINE BABU fits in sweetly to discuss TEAM TUBBY.

Sure, they are not big-timers on the national or even local stage but we have fun together, I am comfortable with them and they try very hard for Rube Nation. Dark guided me to do stuff like that and it has assisted me in comfortability with the time slot and within my professional skin. Plus, think about the joy players like Wobby, Cardinal, Babu, AARON GLEEMAN and countless others receive by getting run on the identity of sports up here, KFAN. That facet of it means the most to me.
