PERCY HARVIN was zipping around mini-camp today like the game-changer he has become. Great to see him out there, too. Still wondering whatthehell the problem is, and am not buying AP GUY was wrong with his splashy break yesterday.

Something has pissed off Percy and whether he is wrong or right we have a month and change to fix it before 'FANkato starts. Percy tweeted it's not about the cash and today I guess he tweeted the whole thing has been overblown. I respectfully disagree and do feel something has irked him.

I have broken it down repeatedly on the radio and am going with my gut vibe -- there might be something amiss between Percy and OC BILL MUSGRAVE and the way the offense is constructed or Bill's expectations of Percy the professional.

Musgrave is one of the smartest people I have come acoss since working with the Vikings and he demands professionalism from his players. Never got the feeling MCNABB respected Bill the way a QB should and also didn't feel Bill was sad to see Donovan go. Bill stands his ground and has a wonderful plan for this offense.

If Percy is frustrated because he feels he is being ridden too hard by the OC it would be because Bill counts on him so much he wants it done a certain way to maximize Percy's season and, thus, the offensive productivity. I know Percy doesn't have a problem with LESLIE, CHRISTIAN or WR coach GEORGE STEWART. So, if it's not about money it has to be something involving his role with the offense. I tried to broach the subject privately today during my four hours at Winter Park but quickly could tell the bit is too hot and touchy, so I backed off.

Percy can be quite moody and my guess is something stupid has set him off and, again, I do believe AP Guy had good steam. Something has to crack here if my guess is accurate. SPIELMAN, MARK WILF and Leslie know what the problem is and privately didn't seem overly concerned with it. I believe it will be a thing of the past by the time we hit 'FANkato, and that's good news.

Meanwhile, our MLB situation bugs me a bit. JASPER BRINKLEY is the man in the middle and they trust he will be fine despite limited experience. Problem is with that groin he missed all of mini-camp. Our depth at LB is very suspect. ERIN HENDERSON and GREENWAY will be fine but if we get nicked up there we get thrown into the belly of the beast.

Teams will put us in a 4-3 base with Jasper on the field and throw out of it to make him think on the fly and make plays. His "drops" became better end of the 2009 season and he's a "thumper" against the run. I like Jasper very much and also believe he can hold down the spot. Big training camp for Jasper Brinkley.

I leave mini-camp very high on our offensive line and CB's. I predict CHRIS COOK has a terrific season and that ANTOINE WINFIELD plays very well, too. That's going to be so much better than GRIFFIN and SAPP and ALLEN, the primary guys last year. This, too, will give JOSH ROBINSON a chance to grow.
