Twitter (@pakfanvikes) has so consumed me I am making today a day of clarity. Instead of plopping down in the sinkhole and eliminating email, my show page and writing for tomorrow's show, I am chaging my routine. I have become so excited about communicating via Twitter work-related things have been placed on the proverbial back burner.

Not anymore -- when I head into phase two of my work day I am using Twitter as the cliched icing on the cake and taking care of business first. I know, you are happy for me, but this needed to be done because I have become a serial tweeter and it needs to slow down a tad.

I am very excited to get to Soldier Field Sunday and take pics and tweet them. Expect that and become excited by it. I have yet to venture on a Vikings' roadie while tweeting and the possibilities are endless. To wit, the road announcer's booth at SF is right next to the fans, and I can tweet exactly what it looks like so you can better visualize the "wordseye View." Cool. Let's play.

And when we get to the game and after watching the Bears last night I feel we need to pass to run. I very much like what MUSGRAVE did versus Detroit, spreading the field and letting PONDER play quarterback, and the only offensive way to win thids game is to be able to throw the ball. They will go "single-high safety" like they did last night, and Christian needs to burn them. They will try to sucker him into stupid throws and he has to know that.

ADRIAN is the gravy on top of this potentially wonderful meal. His on-tape equity the last month should give them fits. Use his prowess as the proverbial bread-and-butter approach, but come out throiwing the ball to show them you are not afraid to pass. This stuff is key in my estimation. I LOVED our passing game versus Detroit (Ponder hit 10 targets), and given I believe PERCY will make the dance that's an option that, too, should give Chicago fits.

This Bears team we will hook Sunday at Noon will not be the ratty bunch we saw last night. Instead, they will play better and use the imposing crowd as fuel to the proverbial fire. If we win this game we will make the playoffs because the confidence will be off-the-charts high. Big, big spot and I cannot wait for the test.
