Just an amazing opportunity tomorrow at MOA Field. Crowd hasn't been this fired up since the NFC Title game at New Orleans. Green Bay fans are tweeting/emailing trash talk but have to respect the way we are playing.
Given we have won as many games this year as we did the last two, yeah, the season is a success no matter the outcome. We have a young, talented team and in ADRIAN, KALIL, SMITH, WRIGHT, RUDOLPH, GREENWAY, SULLIVAN, WALSH and others have a nucleus of studs off which to build for years to come. LESLIE FRAZIER and his coaches have done terrific work to mold this thing into a winner. Likewise for GM RICK SPIELMAN, who may have whiffed on SIMPSON and CARLSON but acquired a FB in FELTON who is Pro Bowl-bound. His draft will turn out to be one of the best in the history of the team.
We need to win tomorrow to extend this love affair with the fans. CHRISTIAN PONDER needs to make the fan base proud he's the team's franchise QB and play mistake-free football tomorrow. We never lose when we win the take-give and are 6-and-1 when he doesn't throw a pick. This is the biggest spot of his life and cold-blooded QB's are supposed to relish moments like this.
Let's beat the Green Bay Packers, play them again next week and beat them again. Then let's go to Atlanta and remind MATT RYAN why he never has won a playoff game. Then maybe to Seattle and show that town who the real BEAST MODE is. If we can beat Green Bay with everything on the line and do so impressively like we did last week against 12-and-2 Houston we have a chance to be that team that became red hot in December and never stopped winning.
The game-calling depth chart is prepared, I have talked out the game with coaches, WOBBY and BERCICH, the proverbial hay is in the barn, and it's time for Adrian to get "loose" and run us to Valhalla. Enjoy.
