Let's stay hot and make the Mission Mardi Gras! Why not, right? Can't say "We are not good enough" because we just swept December by edging the Hated Green and Gold, and in doing so won four consecutive must-win games killed the high-flying Texans on the road and found a way to beat the Packers despite losing ANTOINE WINFIELD middle of the stream. That was a huge, huge loss in this game and because of it we had to win with offense -- and did!

Good for CHRISTIAN PONDER, the guy who absolutely deserves to be our quarterback next year. Today was the most pressure-filled day of his professional life, and he played fearlessly. His second-half hits to JARIUS WRIGHT (65 YARDS) and MICHAEL JENKINS (25 yards on third-and-11 from the Vikes' 27) were two of the best of his career. He played with poise. He earned huddle cred. He made everybody proud he is the quarterback of the Minnesota Vikings.

Christian almost went stride for stride with THEGREAT AARON RODGERS and should be incredibly proud of what he did today. He eliminated any offseason talkers regarding the 2013 starting-quarterback job, and ever since the awful pick against the Bears has personifield a guy with whom we can win.

Green Bay fans all week will say things will be different in Title Town, but we'll take our chances with a DL that will kill GB's OL again (five sacks today) and a RB in ADRIAN PETERSON who only has gone for 409 rushing yards in two games against them this year.

Today's win and playoff berth caps one of the greatest turnarounds in Vikings' history. From three wins to 10 and a playoff spot is absolutely amazing. HC LESLIE FRAZIER and his coordinators deserve alot of credit, and MUSGRAVE'S offense put up 37 against a defense that had allowed 13 PPG the last four and was feeling good about the fact CLAY MATTHEWS and CJ WILSON were playing against us for the first time this year.

The 2012 Minnesota Vikings are a great story. They run first in a pass-happy league and play a Cover Two in a league many teams are switching to aggressive three-four defenses. The 2012 Minnesota Vikings have brought a black-and-blue approach to to the pass-first NFC North, a division that used to be called the black-and-blue division. Many deserve credit and will receive it all week this week on the 9-to-Noon Production. From WALSH to GRIFFEN to SPIELMAN to everybody else, the Vikings have earned a chance at sports' ultimate prize, the Super Bowl.
