We celebrate the 1983 Wayzata Club Hockey Team and one of its stars, Jonny "The Mouse" Mikkelson, who once told me "Our team was so good the varsity wouldn't play us." When asked why he didn't play varsity Mouse said, "Too little." Cutest ever. So, we salute the greatest Club Hockey Team ever, a squad so vaunted even Jim Craig's Miracle team wanted nothing to do with it. Trottier, Bossy, Gretzky, Messier ... dead! Long live the 1983 Wayzata Club Hockey team!

f the Wild were Judge Charles H. Older, the judge that sent Charles Manson to the clink: “2 weeks in the workhouse and 1 month probation!”
All I can think about professionally is Vikings training camp and calling preseason games. Yeah, wondering what these Wolves will play like is part of the mental mix, too, but I am one bred with the work gene, and 80 hours a week of work I love helps me play fast. Let'sfreakinggo!
I have spent the last three days #92Noon counting down days to camp but bringing up topics and playing highlightds and jump-starting the bit. I am off a few days next week, talk out Thursday, then head to 'FANkato with PAUL CHARCHIAN for the first 'Feast.
It's awesome mixing in football during the 'Project and discussing the who, what, where, when and why. The first preseason game is August 9. Let's go! The Seattle Seahawks are a chic selection of many to house The Big Prize, so being racetrack-trained I have to find a way to beat what may be the NFC's favorites.
The Packers always will be a tough out, I fully expect ELI to make a run again, happen to think the CHIP KELLY bit will work in Philly and do not completely know what to think at RG3 and his 'Skins.
Of course, the Niners will be good, the Rams better, the Cowboys a non-factor and the Bears might win a bunch of games. I think we win the division and finish 11-and-5.
The Atlanta Falcons will win their divisions and not maked the Super Bowl; That's how that team rolls. The Carolina Panthers and New Orleans Saints look tough, too.
The Seahawks have put together a nice squad and there are not many weaknesses. I love their QB but wonder if GOLDEN TATE and SIDNEY RICE can properly complement PERCY from the slot. I am sure they will be fine.
We run and I predict teams can run on Seattle. The defense is fast and running wide on those big CBs might be tough, but mashing on them up the middle might be he best approach. The Niners play like that, and the Giants can play like that.
All of this has daily talk-ability a week from Friday when the 'Feast hits Mankato. And it cannot arrive soon enough. Cool.
