ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE
Clear Channel is looking for its next sales superstar! If you have high career aspirations, enjoy challenges, and have no reservations about hard work...if you're comfortable in a fast-paced environment, have a proven track record in working with local and regional agencies, and success in new business development...then what are you waiting for? The right individuals will need basic business knowledge, good follow-up performance, excellent communication skills, a strong desire to see clients succeed, and the ability to think on their feet. Being customer focused, self-motivated, and having an insatiable desire to win are key. You must be creative, energetic, goal oriented, and have at least a year of outside sales experience. Media experience is preferred. A high school diploma or equivalent and a valid drivers license is required. Standard business hours M-F 8:30-5:30; evenings/ weekends as needed.

RADIO PROMOTIONS FOR STUDENT INTERNS
We are committed to developing talent and interest in our industry and provides internship opportunities in radio promotions for student interns. An internship at KFAN can provide you the chance to explore your career interests, acquire marketable job skills while “learning the ropes” of the industry, establish professional contacts, and gain practical work experience. Our internships offer meaningful educational and work experiences designed to meet the academic and career goals of the intern. Our management will teach and encourage, but it’s up to the student to bring an enthusiasm to learn. Because internships at KFAN are learning experiences, they are unpaid.

Positions are open for Fall 2010

Eligibility: Applicants must be
  • At least 16 years of age
  • Enrolled in an accredited school, college or university
  • Able to provide a letter from the student’s school stating that the student will be granted credit for the internship.
  • available 10-15 hours per week, including evenings and weekends.
  • Have a valid drivers license.
  • High School Diploma Required
