Mere days after dealing Denard Span to the National League, the Twins sent centerfielder Ben Revere to Philadelphia for some pitching help.

Phillies beat writer Todd Zolecki broke the news Thursday morning, as the Phillies will send RHP Vance Worley and right-handed prospect Trevor May to Minnesota. Worley, nicknamed "The Vanimal," went 6-9 with a 4.20 ERA and 107 strikeouts last season.

Revere's exit now leaves a gaping hole at center, as the team continues to sacrifice its outfielders to beef up the struggling rotation.
