Minneapolis, MN - According the St. Croix County court records and the Eau Claire Leader-Telegram, Vikings quarterback Christian Ponder and ESPN reporter Samantha Steele were lawfully married in a St. Croix County court on Monday afternoon. Yes, you heard right. Christian Ponder and Samantha Steele got married on Monday afternoon.

This wedding is just the latest in a series of strange actions surrounding this couples relationship, but to each their own. According to reports, the couple started dating late this last summer and then were engaged to marry on the evening of Sunday, December 2nd hours after the Vikings lost to the Green Bay Packers.

With the Vikings in the middle of a playoff hunt, this may not be the kind of extra curricular activities teammates were hoping for from their quarterback, but then again there is no handbook guiding young adults through living as a millionaire in the NFL.
