Minneapolis, MN - Every year it seems to be rumored, but with Nike taking over apparel rights with the NFL last season, it's going to be a reality. The Minnesota Vikings are getting revamped, new uniforms for the 2013 season!
Thursday afternoon, the team launched a four-week interactive campaign called the "Vikings Uniform Insider" which will give interested fans a sneak peak at the new uniforms.
Per the team's official release - "By engaging with the team’s official Twitter, Facebook and Instagram accounts, as well as other Vikings activities, fans have an opportunity to unlock 12 uniform teasers designed to add to the excitement of the April unveiling. Participants will receive via email an in-depth look at the new uniforms on Thursday, April 25."
The full jersey will be unveiled to the public during the 2013 Miller Lite Draft Party on April 25th at Mall of America Field.
Tickets to the annual event, which begins at 5:00 p.m., are free for children 12 and under and Vikings Season Ticket Owners (one ticket per season ticket), and $10 for general admission.
This year the Vikings will also introduce a second event to Draft weekend. “Vikings Football Day,” presented by University of Minnesota Amplatz Children’s Hospital, will take place at Mall of America Field on Saturday, April 27. Fans are encouraged to bring the entire family to enjoy the newly-created event, which is free for children 12 and under, $5 for Season Ticket Owners and $10 for general admission.
