Minneapolis, MN - It's not exactly the most surprising news out there but multiple sources out of Buffalo are confirming that Adrian Peterson will dress but is very unlikely to play in tonight's preseason game against the Buffalo Bills. All other healthy starters are expected to play a majority of the first quarter.
Peterson, who didn't play at all during the 2012 preseason, is coming off of the best season of his career. Having run for 2,097 yards in 2012, Peterson probably doesn't need a whole lot of tuning up to get ready for the upcoming season. As mentioned Peterson's inactive status tonight doesn't come as much of a surprise given the fact that the Viking offense is centered around the run game and ball control.
Coach Frazier has yet to publicly confirm Peterson's status for preseason game #3 but has been quoted saying that he hopes to get AP some work this preseason.
