We have to hop on a flight back to Minneapolis immediately after our show today, so we'll be updating this blog with up-to-the-minute quotes and anything else we can find.

Rick Gosselin of the Dallas Morning News kicked off our coverage from the Combine today. The "Goose" is as plugged into the NFL as anyone, so what he says is gold.

9:07: Gosselin on Baylor QB Robert Griffin III: "He's going to wow the scouts here with his interview. He is a quality kid. He already has his masters degree … He's a 'yes sir, no sir' type of kid … He's got a better arm than Luck … He's a better overall quarterbacking prospect than Cam Newton or Tim Tebow, but the problem is he's smaller."

9:10: Gosselin on Alabama RB Trent Richardson: "The NFL, they're not running the football. They're throwing it. I think he'll go somewhere in the teens."

9:11: Gosselin on cornerback depth in the draft: "You can get corners in every round of the draft." Speculation: If Gosselin is right, that could mean the Vikings will hold off on drafting a guy like Morris Claiborne or Dre Kirkpatrick in the first round, and try to add secondary depth in the later rounds of the draft.

9:43: Leslie Frazier joins us on radio row and he commented on the high number of college juniors in the draft: "When you've got 65 new guys that you haven't really done your homework on, there's a lot of work to do on the juniors."

9:47: Frazier on North Alabama CB Janoris Jenkins: "He's a really good player. He's a guy that we'll have to our homework on and really get a good feel for as we prepare for this draft."

9:49: Frazier on what he's looking for in the secondary: "We're going to be looking at this group of prospects that will give us a chance to play some man and break it down into some zone."

9:55: Frazier on having a normal off-season: "Last year with all the uncertainty, you always were coming up with contingency plans. This year, there is specific dates for certain things and we're on a schedule. So this is much better."

9:59: Frazier on Matt Kalil: "He's a guy that has that temperament that you're looking for. Whoever we end up taking, we're going to get a good player.

10:00: Frazier on the QB situation: "We expect Christian Ponder to be our starting quarterback. We expect him to take some big leaps, and part of that will be because he'll have a full off-season under his belt."

10:01: Frazier on possibly moving Charlie Johnson to guard: "We would not be uncomfortable moving him to guard and having him start there."

10:03: Frazier on if Antoine Winfield will return: "He's one of those guys we're going to have to make a decision on as we get ready for this next season."

10:06: Frazier on the importance of talking to big name free-agents before other teams: "When it's a key guy, top guy … you want to be the first to get him in your building. You'd like to be that first visit if at all possible."

10:08: Frazier on Chris Cook: "We really have to operate as if he's not a Minnesota Viking as we prepare for this draft."

10:20: Former Houston Texans GM Charley Casserly on the Combine: "The measurables are not as big a part of it as you think."

10:22: Casserly on why he drafted Mario Williams over Reggie Bush: "I looked at Mario Williams as a complete player. I thought Reggie Bush was a situational player. I thought his size was against him lining up and playing every down."

10:24: Casserly on free-agent WR Vincent Jackson: He's probably the best player [at his position in free-agency].

10:25: Casserly on Christian Ponder: "I think he's going to be fine. I think they reached on him when they drafted him, but most quarterbacks are reached on."
